Challenges: It can be difficult for people who want to start backpacking to know what gear is required and what trails are long enough (near them) that would be appropriate to spend a day or two hiking on. The app would provide safe and long trails that could be located in local parks, or state parks.
Approach: Researching for the most valuable information that would need to be included in the app was something I was very thorough about. This includes, trails, parks, trail information, and extensive amount of gear and safety tips.

Differentiations: What makes Trail Tribe different from other hiking/backpacking apps is the amount of help and support Trail Tribe offers. From survival tips for worst case scenarios, to providing users with gear information such as tents, backpacks, clothing and more. The app would be free to download without a required subscription service making this easily accessible to all users.
Solution: A straightforward navigation and a simple layout involving dropdown menus to not overwhelm users. Categorization of information in the main navigation, as well as options to save trails, gears, and gear lists so users can easily find and store their inspirations further enhance the objectives of the Trial Tribe.
