The magazine is based on streetwear, trends, and stores that are known for streetwear styles. I researched photos, articles, and styles for this magazine, as well as created a color scheme of blue, yellow, and orange, which is found on the cover and throughout the magazine. I layed photos out in an abstract, minimalistic, manner.
I outlined and had geometric shapes help frame photos and columns throughout the magazine that used the recurring color palette of blue, yellow, and orange. All of this is on a white based background to provide negative space and contrast to the shapes, photos, and columns. Overall the Inner City Influence magazine is to provide visual as well as text based information about styles, brands, and trends revolving around street wear.
I want viewers to be convinced and implied to purchase from these brands as well as recognize upcoming styles and trends.
